The Festival Opening Welcome Reception

Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the Exhibit Area.

The reception on Wednesday, the opening day of the Festival, is always a great time to see old friends who return to the festival each year as well as meet and make new friends of those who have found the festival for the first time. We want each of you to enjoy today and every day you chose to spend with us for the 16th Annual Festival.

Scrumptious Florida shrimp with accompanying snack items and something sweet to treat your palate will be served by one of our local food establishments. Wine, soft drinks and water is available. Visit the Exhibitors – many came many miles to display their products and they are ready to help you select optics, art or craft items and provide educational information about our natural world.

Please Note: No food or drink allowed in the Auditorium, Classroom or Keynote presentations, or the Art Show.

Afternoon Socials

Thursday, Jan. 24 & Friday, Jan. 25, 5pm-6pm in the Exhibit Area

Clay Taylor and his staff from Swarovski Optik cordially welcomes you to Afternoon Socials on Thursday and Friday. You are invited to stop by their booth located in Aisle 3. Swarovski Optik consistently has an outstanding array of optics products to offer and to try out while at their booth. They will be able to answer your questions as to the right optics for you.

Wine, beverages and light foods are prepared and served by local food service businesses.

Saturday Barbecue

Saturday, Jan. 26, 11:00am-2:00pm

Enjoy delicious southern Bar-B-Q served by Chef Andrew and the staff from Loyd Have Mercy restaurant – pulled pork or pulled chicken, vegetarian baked beans, mac & cheese, cole slaw, rolls and cookies, along with wine, soft drinks and water. Made-from-scratch mac & cheese for vegetarians.

BBQ Pork or Chicken, served with Vegetarian Baked Beans or Mac & Cheese, Cole Slaw, Roll and Cookie…$12.00

BBQ Sandwich, served with Chips and Cookie -OR- Mac & Cheese, Cole Slaw, Vegetarian Baked Beans…$8.00

Sunday Brunch

Sunday, Jan. 27, 10:00am-1:00pm; Served in the Exhibit Center

You are in for a treat with a great meal of traditional Southern breakfast items, served by Chef Andrew and the staff from Loyd Have Mercy restaurant.

Menu: Soft scrambled eggs, thick sliced maplecured bacon, sausage gravy, down-home grits, from scratch biscuits and all the fixin’s – orange blossom honey, orange marmalade, whipped butter, fresh-squeezed Florida orange juice and coffee.

Brunch Buffet (All you can eat)…$15.00

Children under 12…$7.50
